DIRECTIONS: Cross your eyes while looking at the photographs side by side until the two images overlap creating a 3 dimensional image in the center. It takes some practice before you are able to do this proficiently. It sometimes helps to hold your finger next to the screen then slowly move your finger toward your nose while concentrating your vision on the finger. By doing so you will cause the images behind your finger to overlap. If you are looking at your finger the combined image will be out of focus. The trick is to focus on the center image without allowing the two photographs to separate. When the images are directly on top of each other it is easier to focus on the center 3D image. Practice but don't give yourself a headache.
Not long after I began flying with Classic Lifeguard I acquired a digital camera. Since the photographs were suddenly free I began to take more of them. Many of the extra photographs I took were in succession. It occurred to me one day that I could place two of them together when taken consecutively on the same plane to create a stereophotograph or 3D image. Not all of them matched up just right so I had to manipulate their position just a bit. You'll notice that some of the center lines are off. They are not perfect but it's fun to do anyway. It adds a little bit to the places we've been when you have the perspective of depth. Have fun and thanks for visiting our website.
