On June 29, 2008, Classic Lifeguard N407MJ and Guardian Air N407GA medical helicopters collided mid-air and crashed in Flagstaff, AZ not far from Flagstaff Medical Center (FMC) at approximately 15:45. The accident took the lives of Guardian Air pilot Pat Graham, flight nurse Shawn Shreeve, and one patient aboard. Classic Lifeguard lost pilot Tom Caldwell and flight medic Tom Clausing and one patient. Our flight nurse James Taylor survived the crash and was transported in critical condition to FMC where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries on July 4, 2008.
